Lake Leake Chalet offers accommodation centrally located between Tasmania’s midlands and east coast. You’ll find country hospitality here.Lake Leake Chalet has six standard rooms with shared bathroom facilities, and accommodates 10 guests. There are barbeque and laundry facilities, children’s playground, a games room and tea and coffee making facilities.Enjoy a drink or two in the bar or just unwind in front of the log fire in our private guest's only lounge. All meals are available.Lake Leake has much to offer; trout fishing for the keen fly fisherman, bushwalking, wilderness tours, fishing safaris and an abundance of wildlife to meet at the deer farm next door to the chalet..At feeding time you can hand feed a deer or our resident kangaroo. There’s also a pet pig, possums and a couple of Tasmanian devils. If your staying overnight you will get to see our pet owl and wallabies who come in for a look almost every evening.Lake Leake offers a 1500 acre lake stocked with Brook, Rainbow and Brown Trout. The chalet offers boat, rod and tackle hire; guided fishing is offered to the keen angler that is just wanting to catch a trout.
