Daisy Hill Conservation Park and surrounding areas protect vital koala habitat. For these popular marsupials, this is one of the last relatively intact natural habitats between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Five walking tracks radiate from the picnic areas, ranging from the 450 metre Paperbark trail (accessible to wheelchairs with assistance) to the nine kilometre Buhot Creek circuit.
