Polperro Winery is nestled among the vines and shaded by ancient Angophora trees on a stunning 25 acre property in the heart of Red Hill, Mornington Peninsula.
Established in May 2014, Polperro is a boutique winery that offers an on-site bistro, luxury accommodation and intimate cellar door which showcases the Polperro and Even Keel wine.
Polperro Bistro creates a synergy between the vineyard and kitchen, incorporating the seasonal harvests from the Polperro garden. Earthed on a collaborative partnership between winemaker and Chef, the menu is centred on seasonal flavours and share-plates providing food which is fresh, textural and tasty, to best complement the wines.
The Polperro cellar door, is an intimate space featuring wine made by owner/winemaker Sam Coverdale. With over twenty years' experience in winemaking across several wine regions both within Australia and internationally, the wines are sustainably produced with a clear focus on producing elegant and balanced varietals.
Currently, Sam produces wine under two separate labels, Polperro and Even Keel. The Polperro and Even Keel wines have received many accolades over the years and can be found in top restaurants and cellars across the country.
Aside from the food and wine, the property boasts four beautifully appointed, studio apartments overlooking the vines. The spacious, open plan rooms are available for weekend, overnight or longer stays. Each apartment features; a king size bed, open fire place and central spa bath. For the ultimate luxury experience guests can select the premium villa four, its point of difference is the in-room sauna.
For an extra special experience guests can choose to include indulgent extras, Polperro offers add-ons such as in-room spa treatments, bistro dining packages and delicious cheese and charcuterie platters or wines to be placed in the villa upon arrival.
