Standing on the wooden jetty protruding into the river is a great vantage point from which to watch the multitude of bird life. There is a lovely walk and cycle track from Rotary Park, which follows the river as it winds through the town of Busselton to the ocean. The coastal town of Busselton is a three and a half hour drive south of Perth.
