Manly’s famous “Beach House” was built in 1919 and for many years served as a tea house and change rooms for locals and tourists alike. In 1982 it was reborn as an Information Kiosk and in 1997 underwent its final transformation to restaurant, remembered as Manly Ocean Beach House.
Open in November 2010, and renamed, The Pantry Manly has continued the tradition in catering for Manly’s beloved locals and it’s international visitors that make Manly Beach a national icon. Its location on the promenade boasts the best beach views in town.
The location at The Pantry Manly isn’t its greatest asset. It’s what happens in the kitchen that makes it a truly special location. Sourcing produce both locally and internationally, The Pantry Manly is proud showcase a vast range of goodies to entice the senses. From cured meats and terrines to fresh seafood and game to cheeses and home baked desserts there is something for everyone.
